We are committed to full transparency regarding player privacy, data safety, and compliance with Google Play Developer Program Policies. This document details the exact nature of data handled, third-party software development kits (SDKs) integrated, and your privacy choices.

1. Offline-First Local Data Storage

Gravity Drop is designed with an offline-first architecture. All primary gameplay data is stored exclusively on your device using Android's native SharedPreferences and local application sandbox storage:

  • Level Progression: Completed levels across 100 handcrafted physics puzzle stages.
  • Star Mastery & Scores: Stars earned per level (1 to 3 stars based on ink conservation) and personal high scores.
  • In-Game Arcade Points: Game score points earned purely through completing levels, daily login streaks, and optional rewarded videos to unlock cosmetic ball skins and court themes.
  • Cosmetic Customization: Unlocked and currently equipped ball skins (e.g., Classic, Fire, Neon, Galaxy) and arena court themes (e.g., Midnight, Neo Cyber, Retro Sunset, Northern Lights).
  • Player Settings: Audio volume preferences (SFX and Music).

Note: We do not maintain external player account databases, cloud user profiles, or proprietary tracking servers. Your game progress resides safely on your local device.

2. Third-Party SDK Disclosures & Data Collection

To maintain app stability, monitor performance, and support the game via advertising, Gravity Drop integrates certified Google third-party SDKs. These services process pseudonymous diagnostic and advertising identifiers:

A. Google Mobile Ads (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to deliver advertisements within the game. We utilize two specific ad formats:

  • Rewarded Video Ads (Opt-In Only): Players can voluntarily choose to watch a short sponsored video in exchange for in-game score points or bonus daily rewards. Rewarded ads are never mandatory to play or progress.
  • Banner Ads: Non-intrusive display banner ads shown at designated areas (such as bottom menu docks or transition screens).

Data Processed by AdMob: Google Advertising ID (AAID/GAID), device identifiers, IP address (used for approximate geolocation and fraud prevention), ad interaction events, and diagnostic data.

B. Google Firebase Analytics

We utilize Firebase Analytics to understand aggregated gameplay trends and optimize puzzle level difficulty balance.

Data Processed: Anonymous App Instance IDs, device model, operating system version, gameplay events (such as level starts, level completions, star milestones), and session duration. All analytics data is pseudonymized and aggregated.

C. Google Firebase Crashlytics

To quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve app crashes across different Android devices and OS versions, we employ Firebase Crashlytics.

Data Processed: Crash stack traces, exception logs, device state at time of crash (free RAM, available storage, orientation, battery level), and OS build. No user identity or personal files are ever accessed.

3. Device Hardware & Permissions

Gravity Drop requires only minimal Android permissions strictly necessary for core gameplay and ad rendering:

  • android.permission.INTERNET: Required for loading AdMob advertisements, Firebase telemetry, and Crashlytics crash reports.
  • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Allows the app to detect network availability and operate smoothly in offline mode.
  • com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Standard Google Play Services permission for AdMob analytics and frequency capping on Android 13+.

Permissions We Do NOT Request: We never request access to Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Physical Storage Files, SMS, or Precise GPS Location.

4. Age Classification & Children’s Privacy

Gravity Drop is designed and published as a general audience casual game for players aged 13 and older.

  • We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
  • Advertisements delivered via Google AdMob are configured in accordance with Google Play Developer Program Policies.
  • If a parent or legal guardian discovers that a child has transmitted information without consent, please contact us at nishanpradhan500@gmail.com and we will promptly purge any associated pseudonymous telemetry records.

5. In-Game Arcade Points & Cosmetic Customization

Gravity Drop includes in-game score points and unlockable cosmetic customizations (ball skins and arena court themes) earned solely through gameplay:

  • Pure Gameplay Progression: In-game points and stars are entertainment-based progress markers awarded for completing levels and daily login challenges.
  • Cosmetic-Only Visuals: Points earned in the game can only be used to unlock cosmetic ball skins and arena court themes. Points do not alter game physics or provide competitive advantages.
  • Daily Login Rewards: Daily rewards are free bonus mechanics that grant score points once every 24 hours. The game contains no real-money purchases, payments, or paid microtransactions.
  • Non-Monetary Entertainment: Points and cosmetic items exist strictly within the game on your local device. Gravity Drop is an offline single-player puzzle game with no financial services, gambling, or real-world prizes.

6. Your Rights & User Data Deletion

You maintain complete authority over your device data and privacy preferences:

  • Reset or Delete Advertising ID: On Android devices, you can opt out of personalized advertising or delete your advertising identifier at any time via: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.
  • Delete All In-Game Data: Because all game progression is stored locally, you can permanently erase all unlocked levels, scores, and coins by clearing the app data via: Settings → Apps → Gravity Drop → Storage → Clear Data, or by uninstalling the application.
